LEV Testing Engineer
Permanent, Full-time Location: Midlands (Central England) or South West (England) Skills: P601 minimum & Industry Experience Salary: Subject to individual experience & qualifications – but competitive We are looking for a qualified and experienced LEV testing engineer to join our team. Our business is ever growing, and we are looking to expand our team. Jasun deliver national coverage for LEV testing, servicing and remedials/filters to most types of LEV. We would like an individual to join our team who has at least the P601 certificate, but further P qualifications, M200 etc would be very beneficial. Experience in the LEV industry is required as we are wanting somebody who can join the team and hit the ground running. Candidates will need to hold a full driving license (ideally clean) and able to obtain an enhanced DBS check, which will lead to Military Security Clearance (SC) & Police Vetting as required by many of our clients. We look after a vast range of clients including but not limited to: Military, Schools, Colleges, Universities, vehicle manufacturers/workshops, laboratories, petro-chem, manufacturing, electronics/soldering, welding & fabrication, carpentry… to name but a few. Soldering and Laser extraction industries are our current biggest growing area. Day to day tasks would include LEV testing (TExT) & Commissioning, LEV filter changes & routine LEV service checks. As well as basic remedials & minor repairs. Computer literacy and a grasp for office software is essential to compile digital reports for every site visit (full report templates/tools provided). Must be presentable & able to communicate well with clients to advise and support your findings and results when on site. Further able to explain and express solutions to problems and challenges. Must be capable of working solo and part of the team on and off site. Candidates should be located ideally in the Midlands (central England location to give good national coverage) as this is a national role. There would be a requirement to attend our Bridgwater Office (Somerset) for monthly team meetings. Sites will be nationwide so travelling to various towns and cities across England will be required (paid door to door). 40-hour full time contract (with paid overtime and paid for to/from site commuting). Stay aways in hotels will sometimes be required for consecutive days further afield. A few times a month max. All expenses paid. There is continued CPD and opportunity for training and progression within the company & industry for dedicated and committed individuals. We would continue to progress your LEV career with P-series, M-series, Occupational Health and other LEV industry related training and certification, working towards CoC Control. A real long term career opportunity! Further opportunity to become a Senior or Lead Engineer and/or Supervisor/Manager is a prospect for all willing applicants longer term. Associate LEV Tutor – OXYL8
THE SEARCH FOR ANOTHER UNICORN… We found one before. Now we need another. Demand for OXYL8 training continues to grow and we’ve reached the rather nice position where the time is right to expand our tutoring team. So, we’re looking for another ‘Unicorn’. Our tutors typically work with us on an associate basis for an agreed number of training days each year, often alongside running their own consultancy or business. Technical credibility is obviously essential, so we are looking for someone who is CoC (Control), or working towards CoC (Control), or who holds CertOH with LFOH. But qualifications are only part of it. The person we’re looking for must genuinely enjoy teaching and interacting with people. They should be able to take difficult concepts and explain them in simple terms. They should also orchestrate delegate participation and discussion and, importantly, make the training experience something enjoyable. The work is interesting and quite varied. LEV Engineer We are looking for an LEV Service Engineer to join our busy team here in Batley, the role will be travelling throughout the UK The position’s primary function would be to commission, service and inspect LEV systems and provide service support to customers.
